The YSpace team was founded as an initiative of five students from the new Space Applications Master’s program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. The original vision was to develop a satellite mission capable of joining the European Space Agency's "Fly Your Satellite!" program. By doing so, the university and the involved students gain invaluable experience in developing technologies for the harsh space environment. Currently, the team is growing rapidly and actively building a network between the academic sphere and the fast-developing space industry in the Czech Republic. This collaboration provides unique opportunities for education in space technologies.
